Listening to stories

Pigs have been talked about everywhere recently. Yet they flew nowhere. Phew. (Don’t speak so soon, eh?)

(Roughly) overheard in a cafe the other day:

“You look better; you got thru having a sniffle. I know it was flu. You told me so. Lucky it wasn’t swiney, eh? How long do you need off work for that? Two days, eh? But that’s okay, you’ve got twelve days sick leave per annum. Better take ’em or you lose ’em. D’errr. ‘S’so obvious. Me, worried about swine ‘flu? Yeah, if farkin’ pigs flew.”
